Vienna is where the original East-Coast Hub of the Internet known as MAE-East was built under the sponsorship of the National Science Foundation. In fact, OpenHosting's servers are located in the very same building that houses this facility.

OpenHosting pioneered Linux VPS offering with its first release of OpenVPS in 2003. It has since maintained the lead in the VPS hosting industry by offreing the most innovative revolutionary solutons.
